Be sure you get a contest shirt to remember the day and add to that special band kid's t-shirt quilt! PepWear will be set up at the contest selling shirts and other memorabila. Music/Marching Entries:
-Open to the first 15 bands (WHS will perform in exhibition only)
-Entry fee: $350 (Make checks payable to Band Fans, P.O. Box 691, Whitesboro, TX 76273.) To register, complete the Chris Lovejoy Marching Invitational Registration Form
-Schools may also pre-order meals for $8 per meal. This will include a hamburger, chips, dessert and a Gatorade or Powerade. If meals are pre-ordered, meal wrist bands will be included in your directors packet at check-in.
-Gate passes will be included for students, directors and chaperones (limit 5). Wrist bands must be worn for stadium entry. Numbers will be taken from information received at time of registration.
-Water stations will be set up at warm up areas and field entrance/exist. Stay hydrated!
-There will also be First Aid available if needed.
Judging Format:
The judging format will follow UIL guidelines, however, there will not be any timing penalties. We will run a clock to simulate UIL timing rules to help you prepare for contest season. This will be a 5 min. setup, 8 min. performance, and 2 min. exit time.

Awards:
There will be an awards ceremony following both prelims and finals performances.
Prelims awards: Best Music/Guard/Visual in each class.
Finals awards: Grand Champion, Runner-up,
Best Overall Music/Visual/Guard

Videos:
We will have a designated area (above the press box) where you will be able to send ONE person before your band performs. Please do not video any other bands and follow copyright guidelines.
Admission:
$5.00 per adult
Kids 10 and below are FREE.
Parking:
Bus and Trailer parking will be in the East parking lot. If needed, buses will drop off students and park at the Middle School (600 Fourth St.) Spectator parking will be in the West parking lot.
Concessions & Merchandise:
There will be concessions available for purchase throughout the day. There will also be a "Shout-Out" table so you can show you love and support to your student or band while they are taking the field. A merchandise table will also be set up for purchase of band related souvenirs such as buttons, stickers, keychains and lanyards.
